- Volunteer Recruiter
Partnerships Adult Day Center follows the guidance from CAADS (Connecticut Association of Adult Day Services) and the recommendations of the Town of Hamden with regard to maintaining a safe environment for our Clients and Staff.
Nevertheless, some clients and caregivers are unaware and hesitant to attend. We are in a great need for a volunteer recruiter who is familiar with the Greater New Haven senior and/or disabled populations, who are in need of our services, and is willing to help us gain new clients. - Certified Nurses Aide (CNA)
Our Certified Nurses Aides assist and lead small group recreational activities for participants, provide direct patient care of participants and assist participants in activities of daily living designed to use specific skills supervised by the RN. They also make participant observations and report to the RN. A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Knowledge of dementia care, with one year related experience and/or training is preferred plus successful completion of the State Certification Program for Certified Nurse Assistant. Hours vary. Shifts are scheduled between the hours of 7:30am and 4pm M-F.
- Per diem reserve list: RNs, LPNs & CNAs
Registered Nurses direct all activities related to the administration and operation of the adult day center. Duties include supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating and supervising services rendered to participants and families, and supervising aspects of client care. A minimum of an RN degree is required, 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred. 5.5 hours between the hours of 7:30am and 4pm M-F.
